These events deserve more publicity.

It's scary to think that this sort of persecutiton of Christians can take place, in Europe no less, without any attention.

I hate to say it, but this is not that surprising. Albania and Kosovo have long been a thorn in Europe's side. Many thanks to the Byzantine traitors (power hungry illegitimate rulers who betrayed their Orthodox brethren by allying with the Turks, who then of course betrayed them and settles on expansion into the Empire) who first let the Seljuks gain a foothold in Asia Minor and then Europe.
